Motorola has launched the new Moto Buds 2 in India. The latest true wireless earbuds come with premium audio features like LDAC support, active noise cancellation, and spatial audio at a price below Rs. 3,000.
Motorola has launched the Moto Buds 2 at an effective introductory price of Rs. 2,999.
The earbuds feature an 11mm + 6mm dual dynamic driver setup along with Hi-Res Audio certification. One of the biggest highlights is support for LDAC, which is usually found in more expensive earbuds.
LDAC allows higher-quality wireless audio streaming compared to standard Bluetooth codecs. This could make the Moto Buds 2 appealing to users who listen to high-quality music on supported devices.
The earbuds also support spatial audio for a more immersive experience while watching movies or gaming.
Motorola has included up to 55dB active noise cancellation on the Moto Buds 2. This is a strong number for earbuds in this price range and puts them against competitors like Nothing Ear (a) and realme Buds Air 6.
For calls, the earbuds use six microphones along with Environmental Noise Cancellation and Motorola’s CrystalTalk AI technology to improve voice clarity in noisy surroundings.
Other features include Bluetooth 6.0, dual device connection, wear detection, gaming mode, and Moto AI integration for Motorola ecosystem features.
Motorola claims the earbuds can deliver up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge. Combined with the charging case, total battery life can go up to 48 hours. The company also says a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to three hours of playback.
The Moto Buds 2 come with IP54 water resistance for the earbuds, while the charging case has an IPX2 rating. This means the earbuds should handle sweat and light splashes without issues.
The earbuds will be available in Pantone Violet Ice, Pantone Carbon, and Pantone Grey Mist colour options.
The Moto Buds 2 will go on sale in India starting May 25 through Flipkart, Motorola India, and select offline retail stores.
