Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arc System Works have revealed new playable characters for MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls. The roster now includes Hulk and Black Panther, expanding the team-based fighting lineup ahead of launch.

The game follows a four-versus-four tag fighting format, and these new additions join previously confirmed characters like Captain America and Iron Man. Together, they form a team called the “Fighting Avengers.”

Hulk is designed as a high-damage powerhouse. His core mechanic revolves around building a Gamma Gauge during fights. Once the gauge is full, he enters a powered-up state that boosts both strength and speed. This allows him to deal massive damage in short bursts, making him a strong pick for aggressive players.

Black Panther brings a very different playstyle. This version of the character focuses on speed, mobility, and mid-range control. She uses a spear-based combat system and has a special ability that allows fast directional movement. This opens up combo-heavy gameplay and gives players more flexibility in attack patterns.

Alongside the new characters, the developers have also introduced a new stage called Wakanda. The arena adds visual variety and is expected to be part of the competitive rotation.

The latest build of the game will feature a total of 13 playable characters and five stages. Players will be able to try this updated version at upcoming events like Combo Breaker 2026 and Hong Kong Comic Con 2026.

A new character called The Champion was also teased, hinting at additional content and possibly a larger story mode, though gameplay details around this character are still limited.

MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls is set to launch on August 6 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
