itel has launched a new budget smartphone in India called the Itel A100C. The company is targeting entry-level smartphone buyers who want a phone for daily use without spending much.

Itel A100C features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display boasts 400 nits of brightness, which is sufficient for this price segment. It also uses a waterdrop notch design on the front.

Itel has powered the phone with an octa-core Unisoc T7100 processor. The device runs Android 15 Go Edition, which is designed for budget phones with lower RAM configurations.

The phone comes with 2GB RAM, along with support for an additional 4GB virtual RAM expansion. It also includes 64GB internal storage.

The Itel A100C features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The company says the phone also includes image processing features to improve photos.

The device includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with face unlock support. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.

The Itel A100C comes with MIL-STD-810H certification and IPX4 rating.

The Itel A100C is priced at Rs 7,999 and is now available through retail stores across India. The smartphone comes in three colour options: Silk Green, Titanium Gold, and Pure Black.
