Publisher Nacon and developer Rogue Factor have announced that Hell is Us is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24.

The game was first released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on September 4, 2025. Now Switch 2 players will also get a chance to experience the action RPG.

Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure game that mixes melee combat with exploration. The game takes players into a semi-open world filled with mysteries, supernatural creatures, and a war-torn environment.

The game has a notable exploration system. It doesn’t use a traditional map, compass, or quest markers. Instead, players are expected to follow their instincts and explore the world on their own. The developers say this approach is designed to make discoveries feel more personal.

The story takes place in a country affected by civil war and a strange calamity that has created dangerous supernatural creatures. Modern weapons are useless against these monsters, so players must rely on melee weapons like swords, spears, and axes.

Players will also have access to a drone companion that can help during combat and exploration. According to the developers, using the drone wisely will be important for survival.
