Pearl Abyss has released a new update for Crimson Desert. The latest Patch 1.09.00 started rolling out on May 29 and brings a few useful quality-of-life improvements along with new content.
The biggest highlight of the update is controller button remapping. Players can now customize controller controls according to their own preferences. This is one of those features many gamers appreciate because it improves comfort and accessibility, especially in long RPG sessions.
The update also adds around 30 new small pet species to the game. Pearl Abyss continues expanding the game’s world with more cosmetic and companion options for players.
Characters Oongka and Damiane have also received new skills in this update. Apart from that, the developers have added new animations when players pick up or place certain animals. These may seem like small changes, but they help make the overall gameplay experience feel more polished.
Seed planting mechanics have also been adjusted as part of the patch.
Like most major updates, Patch 1.09.00 also includes bug fixes and stability improvements. Pearl Abyss says the update focuses on improving the overall gameplay experience across platforms.
