Windrose is off to a very strong start. The cooperative pirate survival game has crossed one million copies sold in just six days. The update comes directly from developer Kraken Express, which also thanked players for the massive response.

The team shared that the game has already seen over 200,000 concurrent players. That is a big number for a new title, especially in a crowded survival and multiplayer space. It shows that the game is not just selling well; people are actively playing it.

We can confirm that the numbers are accurate. As per data tracked by Techlomedia’s Gaming section, which actively monitors video game industry trends, the game currently has around 105,497 players online. The 24-hour peak has reached 222,128 players, which is also the all-time peak so far.

The momentum is also visible on Twitch. At the time of writing the article, the game has 28,895 active viewers, and 867 channels are streaming the game. It also had a peak of 92,424 viewers.

All these numbers clearly show that Windrose is trending right now. Strong sales, high player count, and solid Twitch performance are all moving in the same direction.

But this is still the early phase. The developers have said they are working on fixes and improvements based on feedback. That part will be important. Many games start strong but lose momentum if updates are slow or issues are not fixed.
