Sony has expanded its gaming audio lineup with the launch of the new Sony Inzone H6 Air. The new headphone focuses on comfort and sound quality. Sony also says that it is one of the lightest gaming headsets in its portfolio.
The headset is now available to order globally at a price of $199.99.
Weight is the biggest highlight of Inzone H6 Air. It weighs just 199 grams, which makes it very light compared to most gaming headsets.
Sony has used an aluminum structure along with a flexible headband design. This helps improve comfort, especially during long gaming sessions. The overall design is made to reduce pressure on the head while keeping a secure fit.

The Inzone H6 Air comes with an open-back design, which is different from most gaming headsets that use a closed design. This allows air and sound to pass through the earcups. As a result, users get a wider and more natural soundstage. It also helps in better positional audio, which is useful in many games.
Sony has also used driver technology inspired by its Sony MDR-MV1 headphones. This helps deliver clear sound across different frequencies.
Sony says it has worked with PlayStation Studios to tune the audio experience. There is a dedicated EQ profile designed for RPG and adventure games. It focuses on environmental sounds and immersion.
When used with the Inzone Hub software, the headset also supports virtual 7.1 surround sound using 360 Spatial Sound technology.
The headset comes with a cardioid boom microphone. It is designed to focus on the user’s voice while reducing background noise. This should help improve communication during multiplayer gaming sessions.
The Sony Inzone H6 Air is priced at $199.99 and is available to order starting today. It can be purchased through Sony’s official channels as well as e-commerce platforms.
