OnePlus has announced key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite ahead of its India launch scheduled for May 7 at 12:00 PM IST. The smartphone will launch alongside the Nord CE6 and marks the return of the Lite series after a gap of around two years. It follows the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite and will be offered in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black color options.
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, built on a 4nm process. The device uses UFS 3.1 storage and includes a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber cooling system. The company claims the phone crosses an AnTuTu score of 1,030,000. However, it will be interesting to see if the device manages to back up claims.
Based on the chipset and claimed score, the device appears positioned in the upper mid-range segment.
It features a 6.72-inch Full HD display with an adaptive refresh rate or up to 120Hz in general usage and up to 144Hz in supported applications. OnePlus says certain games can run at up to 144 FPS, while some shooter titles may support up to 90 FPS.
The device has a 50MP primary rear camera with 4K video recording support and an 8MP front camera. The camera hardware is typical for this segment.

The phone includes several software-based features such as Motion Photos with 4K support, AI Perfect Shot, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, and AI Reframe. These features rely on software processing, and their effectiveness will depend on real-world implementation.
The Nord CE6 Lite will run OxygenOS 16. OnePlus has committed to five years of software support, which is longer than what is usually offered in this price range.
The device also integrates Google AI features such as Circle to Search and Google Gemini, including Gemini Live with camera and screen-sharing capabilities.
The Nord CE6 Lite includes a 7000mAh battery, which is larger than most devices in this segment. The phone supports 45W SUPERVOOC charging and includes bypass charging, which can reduce heat during gaming by supplying power directly to the system instead of the battery. The company also states that the battery can retain up to 80 percent capacity after six years, though such long-term claims are difficult to verify at launch.
The smartphone carries a MIL-STD-810H certification and is rated for resistance against dust and water splashes.
The official price has not been announced yet. Based on the specifications and previous models in the series, the expected price range could be around Rs. 25000.
OnePlus Nord CE6 and the Nord CE6 Lite will be available on Amazon.in, OnePlus India online store and offline stores after the launch.
