GameSir has officially released the beta version of its GameHub app for macOS. So, Mac users can now play Windows PC games without relying on traditional workarounds.
GameHub is already known for bringing PC game emulation to Android devices. It allows users to log in to their Steam accounts and play Windows games on mobile hardware. Now, the same idea is coming to macOS. Now that Mac devices are powerful enough to handle gaming, this opens up new possibilities for gamers using Apple devices.
With the macOS beta, users can sign in to their Steam account, access their full game library, install titles, and start playing directly. The app also syncs key account data such as playtime, cloud saves, and even account value, making the experience feel close to native PC gaming.
One of the most interesting additions in the Mac version is support for the Epic Games Store. This is notable because the Android version of GameHub still does not support Epicโs platform.
GameHub for Mac also includes several gamer-friendly features such as support for multiple Steam accounts, custom compatibility profiles for better performance, and the ability to import locally stored games. These features suggest GameSir is targeting both casual players and more advanced users who want control over how their games run.
GameSir says the current beta release is focused on gathering user feedback. The company has not shared a fixed timeline for the stable version, noting that the final release will depend on development progress and community response.
