itel has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the ZENO 100. The new smartphone is part of the company’s ZENO series and focuses on durability, design, and essential features for first-time smartphone buyers. The device will be available exclusively on Amazon, with prices starting at Rs 6,866.
Interestingly, the itel ZENO 100 is essentially the itel A100 under a new name, launched just 25 days ago, with identical design and specifications
The ZENO 100 features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, which should offer smoother scrolling compared to standard 60Hz panels. It is powered by an Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The smartphone runs Android 15 Go Edition, which is optimized for entry-level hardware. The device has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
It has Ultralink connectivity, which helps maintain communication in areas with weak network coverage. Other notable features are the IR blaster, the Dynamic Bar, and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has a DTS-powered speaker for enhanced audio output.
The device packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
The phone also features a stylish design with a slim 8.49mm thickness and comes in three colours: Silk Green, Pure Black, and Titanium Gold. It has MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, which is rare in smartphones priced under Rs 8,000.
