TECNO has launched the TECNO Spark 50 5G in India. The phone targets the mid-range segment and focuses on battery life, durability, and connectivity features.
The device comes with a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The higher refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and animations. However, the HD+ resolution at this price feels like a compromise.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. This is a capable mid-range chipset and should handle daily tasks and moderate gaming without issues. It comes with up to 6GB RAM and supports virtual RAM expansion. It also offers 128GB (UFS 2.2) storage, which is expandable up to 2TB with microSD.
The phone runs on Android 16 with HiOS 16 on top.
The TECNO Spark 50 5G features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The rear camera should deliver good results in daylight.

Some also provide faster charging or better software optimization. Still, TECNO Spark 50 5G manages to stand out.
