Samsung has launched Samsung Browser for Windows, extending its popular mobile browser to PCs. The move aims to offer a seamless browsing experience across devices while introducing new AI-powered tools to make browsing easier and more productive.

The Windows version of Samsung Browser allows users to continue browsing across mobile and PC without losing their place. It will automatically sync bookmarks, browsing history, and open pages. So, users can pick up exactly where they left off. It also supports Samsung Pass, which makes it easier to log in to websites and autofill personal information securely across devices.

The most notable feature is the integration of agentic AI into the browser. It is powered by a partnership with Perplexity. This AI can understand the content of the pages you are viewing and your activity across multiple tabs. It goes beyond simple question answering. For example, the browser can create structured travel plans from a webpage about a city or locate a specific moment in a video without manual searching. It can also summarize content across multiple tabs.

Users who often work with multiple tabs or need to quickly organize information would find these AI features worth trying. However, it is important to note that early support is to South Korea and the United States. Users in other markets may need to wait for wider availability.

These AI features are impressive and also needed to stand out against the competition. After the launch of Comet, other browsers are also trying to integrate AI in the best possible ways. Chrome also recently received deep Gemini integration.

Samsung Browser for Windows will work on devices running Windows 11 and Windows 10 (version 1809 and above). The AI features are available on both Windows and Android.
