OPPO has introduced a new 4GB + 64GB variant of the OPPO K14x 5G in India. The new model joins the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variants that the company launched in the country last month. The latest addition to K14x lineup makes the device more accessible for buyers looking for an entry level 5G smartphone.

The newly launched 4GB + 64GB model is priced at Rs. 12,999 and is already available through Flipkart and the OPPO India online store. Buyers can also get an instant bank discount of Rs. 750 and a three-month no-cost EMI option. The phone is available in the same Icy Blue and Prism Violet colour options as the other variants.

The OPPO K14x 5G features a 6.75 inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1125 nits peak brightness. While the resolution remains HD+, the higher refresh rate aims to deliver smoother scrolling and animations.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which is built on a 6nm process. This chipset has become a common choice in affordable 5G phones launched in India over the past year. It offers a balance between power efficiency and everyday performance for tasks like social media, browsing, and casual gaming.

The new variant comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage, with support for up to 8GB virtual RAM expansion. Storage can also be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16, bringing the latest version of OPPO’s custom Android interface.

The OPPO K14x 5G features a 50MP primary rear camera along with a 2MP portrait sensor. The camera setup supports 1080p video recording at up to 60fps.

On the front, the phone includes a 5MP selfie camera capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps.

The device includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and connectivity options such as 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type C. It packs a 6500mAh battery and supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.

The launch of the 4GB + 64GB variant shows that OPPO wants to compete more aggressively in the Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 13,000 smartphone segment. However, the market is currently crowded with similar phones using the same Dimensity 6300 chipset from brands like Realme, Redmi, and POCO. So, the key selling point is the large 6500mAh battery and 45W fast charging.

At the same time, the HD+ resolution on a large 6.75-inch display and the basic 5MP front camera show that OPPO has made some compromises to keep the price lower.
