Motorola recently showcased its first book-style foldable smartphone at CES 2026. While the company revealed the design and form factor, it did not confirm many hardware details. Now, a new Geekbench listing has surfaced online, and it gives us a clear idea about the performance of the upcoming Motorola Razr Fold.
According to the listing, the Motorola Razr Fold is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This chipset is positioned just below Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The device is paired with 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 16.
In Geekbench CPU tests, the Razr Fold scored 2693 points in single-core and 9213 points in multi-core performance. These scores are very close to what the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 achieved with its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 scored around 2703 in single-core and 9317 in multi-core tests. This shows that Motorola’s foldable will deliver flagship-level performance and can compete directly with Samsung’s premium foldable lineup.
The Motorola Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch cover display that can be used when the phone is folded. Once opened, users get access to a large 8.1-inch internal display. This makes it suitable for multitasking, reading, gaming, and content consumption.
The device is expected to offer a 50MP triple rear camera setup. While full details of the sensors are not confirmed yet, the setup is likely to include a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto sensor. Motorola showcased the phone in two color options called Blackened Blue and Lily White.
Leaks also suggest that the Motorola Razr Fold could be priced at around 1,500 US dollars. If this pricing turns out to be accurate, it would be lower than many competing book-style foldables, especially those from Samsung.
Motorola has confirmed that the Razr Fold will make an appearance at Mobile World Congress 2026. The company is expected to officially reveal complete specifications, availability details, and final pricing during the event.
