Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly free games lineup, and this time it brings two very different titles. Havendock and Hyper Echelon are now available for free, and users can claim them until April 2 at 08:30 PM.
As always, once you claim the games within the time window, they stay in your library permanently.
Havendock is a calm and slow-paced colony simulation game. You start alone in the middle of the ocean and gradually build a floating settlement. Over time, you gather resources, farm, craft items, and bring in new settlers. The focus here is on building and managing your own space at a relaxed pace rather than dealing with pressure or combat.
On the other hand, Hyper Echelon is all about action. It is a fast-paced space shooter where you control a ship and fight waves of enemies. The gameplay focuses on reflexes, upgrades, and surviving increasingly difficult levels. There are multiple modes, including co-op, which adds more replay value.
If you enjoy games where you can take your time and build something, Havendock is worth trying. It is simple to get into and does not demand constant attention.
If you prefer gameplay that is more intense and skill-based, Hyper Echelon is the better pick. It is quick, challenging, and more about moment-to-moment action.
