Apple has announced that this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 8 to June 12. The keynote will be held on June 8 at 1PM ET, with CEO Tim Cook taking the stage at Apple Park. While the keynote will be in-person, most of the event will be online and free for developers to attend.

WWDC is primarily a software-focused event, and this year is expected to follow the same pattern. Apple is likely to unveil its next-generation operating systems, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, visionOS 27, and watchOS 27. These updates could bring important improvements across Apple devices, although the company has not shared specific details yet.

The week-long online conference will feature over 100 video sessions, interactive labs, and appointments where developers can meet directly with Apple engineers and designers. The content will be available on the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel.

Reports and rumors suggest that iOS 27 could focus on enhancing Apple Intelligence and finally delivering a long-awaited Siri overhaul. Other expected features include split-pane multitasking for iPads, a redesigned Health app, and a new battery management system for iPhones.

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has hinted that this year’s WWDC may be “a fairly muted affair.” It suggests that Apple may focus more on incremental improvements rather than big, headline-grabbing changes.

Even so, developers and Apple fans will be paying close attention. WWDC has traditionally been a chance to get a first look at the software coming to Apple’s ecosystem for the coming year.

We can expect some notable AI features for Apple devices.
