Ai+ has launched the Pulse 2 smartphone in India. This is the latest model in the company’s Pulse series. The phone focuses on a large display, a big battery, and an affordable price.
The Ai+ Pulse 2 features a 6.75-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should offer smoother scrolling and animations. The screen offers up to 450 nits of peak brightness.
The front camera sits inside a waterdrop notch. The phone also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and a bottom-firing speaker.
The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor, built on a 12nm process, and comes with Mali G57 MP1 GPU. The device is available in two variants. Users can choose between 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The storage can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The phone supports dual SIM along with a dedicated microSD slot.
It runs Android 16 with NxtQuantum OS on top.
The Ai+ Pulse 2 packs a 50MP rear camera with LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8MP front camera placed inside the notch. The camera setup is designed for basic photography needs in this price segment.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi Fi 802.11 ac on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS with support for GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
The phone packs a large 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type C port.
Price and Availability
The Ai+ Pulse 2 comes in green, blue, pink, purple, and black color options. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 7,499. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 8,999.
The smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart starting March 11 at 12 PM.
