Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed a new State of Play presentation, and it looks like a big one. The event will take place on February 12 and will start at 2:00 p.m. PT and 5:00 p.m. ET.
Sony says the broadcast will run for more than 60 minutes. This is longer than most recent State of Play events and clearly signals that the company has a lot to show. The presentation will include news, gameplay updates, and new announcements from game studios across the world.
The company has also shared what kind of content viewers can expect. The focus will be on third-party and indie games coming to the PlayStation 5. Alongside that, Sony has promised updates from PlayStation Studios teams, which usually means progress reports or fresh looks at upcoming first-party titles.
The event will be streamed live on multiple platforms. Fans can watch it on YouTube in English, with English subtitles and a Japanese stream available as well. Sony will also broadcast the show on Twitch and TikTok, making it easy to follow from almost anywhere.
Sony has not revealed specific game names yet. Still, the long runtime suggests deeper gameplay reveals and possibly a few major surprises. With both external studios and PlayStation’s own teams involved, the presentation could cover a wide range of genres.
