Lava has launched its new budget smartphone, Lava Bold N2, in India. The phone comes with a large 5,000mAh battery, a 90Hz display, and Android 15 Go Edition. This phone is for people who want an affordable device.
Lava Bold N2 features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a water drop notch design on the front. The phone runs on Android 15 Go Edition. The company says the phone offers a clean software experience without bloatware or ads. This is important in the budget segment where many devices come with pre-installed apps.
The device is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone also supports virtual RAM expansion of up to 4GB by using internal storage.
Lava Bold N2 features a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 13-megapixel primary camera, along with a secondary sensor. On the front, the phone offers a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
For security, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. This should easily last a full day with normal usage.
Lava claims that the Bold N2 comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. This is not common in this price segment and could help the device stand out.
Lava Bold N2 is priced at Rs. 7,499.The smartphone will go on sale in India starting February 27. It will be available exclusively via Amazon. Buyers can choose between two colour options: Indus Black and Siachen White.
