Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on February 24. The release brings the long-running open-world RPG to Nintendo’s new console for the first time.
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. With the Switch 2 version, Bethesda is expanding the game’s reach to a new audience nearly ten years after the original release.
First launched in 2015, Fallout 4 remains one of Bethesda’s most successful role-playing games. It is known for its massive open world, player choice, base-building systems, and deep quest design. Over the years, the game has won more than 200 awards, including major honors from DICE and BAFTA.
The Anniversary Edition bundles the complete Fallout 4 experience into one package. It includes the full base game along with all six official expansions. These are Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbor, Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Nuka-World. Together, these expansions add new storylines, locations, enemies, and gameplay systems.
The Anniversary Edition also includes more than 150 Creation Club items. These add extra weapons, power armor sets, building options, paint jobs, and unique player homes. Players can also customize companions, including changing Dogmeat’s appearance, adding more variety to the experience.
