Epic Games Store users can currently claim two free games that are not part of the platform’s regular weekly giveaway program. The titles, NightReaper2 and SunBlockers, are being offered for free directly by the developer, DarkGoose4. Because of this, both games have dropped to a zero price outside Epic’s usual free game refresh cycle.
This kind of offer is uncommon on the Epic Games Store, as most free titles are part of its scheduled weekly promotions. In this case, the developer has chosen to make both games free for a limited time. NightReaper2 is also available on Steam, but the free offer is exclusive to Epic’s store.
NightReaper2 is a dark-themed indie action game where players control a small but powerful reaper. The game focuses on exploration and fast combat. Gamers harvest souls while moving through areas filled with hostile villagers and police patrols. NightReaper2 normally sells for $3.99 and is available for free on the Epic Games Store until February 28, 2026
SunBlockers offers a very different experience. It is a light survival adventure game with clicker-style mechanics. The game takes place in a frozen world overrun by zombies. Players must collect resources, upgrade skills, and slowly work toward freeing a trapped sun. The game normally costs $1.99 and is available for free until February 28, 2026.
It is important to note that Definitely Not Fried Chicken is also available for free on the Epic Games Store as a weekly free title.
