Konami has officially announced eFootball Kick-Off! for Nintendo Switch 2. The game will launch digitally later this summer, marking the first time the eFootball franchise arrives on a Nintendo console.

eFootball Kick-Off! is a new entry in the long running football series that began as Pro Evolution Soccer. Konami says the game is designed to be accessible, fast-paced, and easy to play, whether players are at home or on the move. It can be played solo or with friends, both offline and online.

The game celebrates more than 30 years of Konami’s football history. It features national teams and club teams from around the world, along with top players and legendary football icons. Players can compete on the international stage or focus on building their own dream team.

The release is timed to match this summer’s major international football tournament in North America. As 48 national teams compete for global dominance in real life, players will be able to recreate those moments or create new ones inside the game.

One of the main modes is World Tour. In this mode, players create their own club team and travel the world to compete in tournaments. Winning matches allows players to sign new footballers, including legendary stars, and strengthen their squad.

Another notable mode is the International Cup. It lets players take control of their national team and compete in the sport’s biggest international competition. Konami has confirmed that this mode will be added later as downloadable content.

For new players, the game includes beginner-friendly modes such as six-on-six football. These modes focus on quick matches, high-scoring action, and gradual skill progression through a ranking system.

eFootball Kick-Off! supports both local wireless play and online matches. Players can challenge friends nearby or compete against others around the world.
