Sony has officially announced the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The reveal came during the first State of Play showcase of 2026. Pre-orders for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach are now live on Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will be released on March 19, 2026. The game was originally released on PlayStation 5 in June 2025, and now it is finally heading to PC.
The sequel is developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The PC port is being handled by Nixxes Software, which is known for working on PlayStation titles for PC.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach continues the story of Sam Porter Bridges. This time, the setting moves to Australia. Players once again work to reconnect isolated regions to the Chiral network. The game combines exploration, delivery based gameplay, stealth, shooting, and survival elements. Natural disasters such as sandstorms, earthquakes, and Timefall return, adding more environmental challenges.
The original Death Stranding was known for dividing opinions. However, it later gained strong support from players and critics.
