Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is officially shutting down this spring. Activision has confirmed that the game’s servers will go offline on April 17, 2026. After this date, players will no longer be able to access the mobile battle royale title.
The game will remain playable for existing users until April 17. However, no new updates or fresh content will be released.
The shutdown does not come as a surprise. Back in May 2025, Activision had already shared that the game would be delisted. The studio also confirmed at that time that no new seasonal content would be added.
Since then, the game has been running without major updates. This made it clear that support was coming to an end.
Warzone Mobile was designed as a mobile version of the popular Warzone battle royale experience. It aimed to bring large maps, real players, and cross progression to smartphones. But the game struggled to maintain long term momentum.
Players who still want a Call of Duty experience on smartphones can continue playing Call of Duty: Mobile. The game remains active and continues to receive seasonal updates. Call of Duty: Mobile also offers a battle royale mode. While it is not the same as Warzone, it still delivers a similar large-scale survival experience.
Activision said that player feedback continues to shape the future of the franchise. The company also confirmed that it will keep delivering meaningful seasonal content and updates to Call of Duty: Mobile.
The main version of Call of Duty: Warzone is not affected by this shutdown. The game remains free to play on Xbox, PlayStation, Battle.net, and Steam. Only the mobile version is being discontinued.
