Apple has confirmed its first event of the year. The company will host a special Apple experience on March 4 across New York, London, and Shanghai. The event will begin at 9 AM ET, 2 PM GMT, and 10 PM CST. It is not yet clear whether Apple will livestream the event or announce the products through press releases.
Several new products are expected, and the most talked-about device is the iPhone 17e. The iPhone 17e is expected to succeed last year’s iPhone 16e. According to recent reports, the new model may come with Apple’s A19 chipset. It is also tipped to feature a 6.1-inch display with Dynamic Island.
The front camera is rumored to be the same 18 megapixel sensor that will be used across the iPhone 17 lineup. On the back, Apple may continue with a single 48 megapixel camera.
Other expected features include Apple’s new C1X modem and MagSafe support. The device is rumored to launch at a starting price of $599.
Apple may also refresh its MacBook lineup at the event. Reports suggest a new entry-level MacBook powered by the A18 Pro chipset. This model could feature an aluminum body and a price under $1,000. It may also come in multiple color options.
The company is also rumored to introduce updated MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with the new M5 series chips. This could include the M5 MacBook Air, as well as MacBook Pro variants powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
Apple may announce new Mac displays and updated iPad models. The iPad Air is expected to receive the M4 chip, while the base iPad could be updated with the A18 chip.
