Xiaomi has announced that its electric performance car, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, will be added to Gran Turismo 7 later this month. The car will be available in the game from January 29, 2026, as part of the Update 1.67 patch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
This is the first time a Xiaomi vehicle is appearing in the Gran Turismo series. Gran Turismo is known for its realistic driving experience and careful selection of cars, which usually includes models from long-established global brands.
The collaboration between Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital, the developer of Gran Turismo, was announced in June 2025. Since then, both teams have worked together to bring the SU7 Ultra into the game with high accuracy. Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi personally drove the car at multiple tracks, including the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Tsukuba Circuit, to understand its real-world behaviour.
Xiaomi’s engineering team also worked closely with Polyphony Digital to fine-tune the in-game version of the car. Xiaomi’s vehicle dynamics team even visited the developer’s studio in Japan to validate the driving feel and ensure it closely matches the real vehicle.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is the flagship model in Xiaomi’s electric vehicle lineup. It uses a tri-motor system developed by Xiaomi and produces 1,548 horsepower and 1,770 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under two seconds and is built on an 800V electric platform. Xiaomi claims a driving range of up to 630 km and very fast charging support.
In the real world, the SU7 Ultra has already proven its performance. In April 2025, the production version set a record lap time of 7:04.957 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in the electric executive car category.
To celebrate the launch in Gran Turismo 7, Polyphony Digital will host a two-week lap time challenge at the Monza circuit. Players from around the world will be able to race using the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra and compare their times.
