After revealing teasers, realme has now confirmed the launch date of realme P4 Power 5G in India. The phone will be launched in the country on January 29. realme P4 Power 5G will join the P4 series and is being positioned as a battery-focused device with a massive 10,001mAh battery.
According to the company, this is the world’s first smartphone with a 10,000mAh plus battery to pass a military-grade shock test. It has also received TÜV Rheinland 5 Star Battery Certification. Despite the large battery, the phone weighs 219 grams. realme claims the battery will retain up to 80 percent health even after four years of usage.
The company says the phone uses several new battery technologies to improve safety and longevity. These include Next Gen Silicon Carbon Anode Technology, which improves battery life cycle by around 30 percent, a Dual Layer Coating Process for better power delivery, and a C Pack Protection Board Design focused on battery safety.
The realme P4 Power 5G supports 80W fast charging, which the company claims can deliver half a day of usage with just five minutes of charging. It also supports 27W reverse charging and includes bypass charging, which helps reduce heat during gaming or long usage sessions.
The phone will feature a 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve Plus OLED display with up to 6500 nits peak brightness. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor, paired with a HyperVision Plus AI chip. realme claims this setup enables 90fps BGMI gaming with 16 percent lower power consumption.
The phone will run realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. realme has promised three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates. For cameras, the phone will feature a 50MP primary rear camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor and optical image stabilisation, along with a secondary ultra-wide camera.
Earlier, realme also revealed the TransView design of the phone, which features a transparent look created by students from Pearl Academy. The realme P4 Power 5G will be available in Trans Orange, Trans Silver, and Trans Blue colour options.
After the launch, the phone will be sold through Flipkart, realme.com, and offline retail stores across India.
