realme has launched the realme Buds Air8 in India as the latest addition to its Air series of true wireless earbuds.
The realme Buds Air8 features an India-exclusive Nature-Touch Master Design. The charging case has a geometric, three-part layout with softly rounded edges. realme says the design was developed in collaboration with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. The case uses a bio-based organic silicone material, which gives it a soft, skin-friendly feel and also adds an eco-conscious touch.
The realme Buds Air8 comes with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm micro-plane tweeter, forming a dual-driver setup. This is paired with dual DAC audio processing chips and high-purity diaphragms. The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio and advanced codecs, including LDAC, along with AAC and SBC. realme has also added features like NextBass, 3D Spatial Audio, and Dynamic Audio to enhance overall sound performance.

The earbuds offer active noise cancellation of up to 55dB. Along with this, there is a six-microphone system that helps reduce background noise during calls. This setup is aimed at delivering clearer voice quality even in noisy environments.
It supports AI Voice Assistant 2.0, powered by Google Gemini. Users can access features like live translation and face-to-face translation, which can be useful while travelling or during conversations in different languages.
The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4 and offer an ultra-low latency mode with a claimed delay of just 45ms, which should help during gaming and video streaming. The earbuds also come with IP55 dust and water resistance, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor use.
With ANC turned off, the earbuds can deliver up to 14 hours of playback on a single charge. The charging case extends the total playback time to up to 58 hours. realme also highlights fast charging support, where a 10-minute charge can provide up to 11 hours of listening time.
The realme Buds Air8 is available in Master Gold, Master Grey, and Master Purple colour options. The earbuds are priced at Rs. 3,799. As a launch offer, they will be available at a special price of Rs. 3,599 during the first sale on January 16. The earbuds will be sold through realme.com, Flipkart, Amazon.in, and offline retail stores across India.
