Realme has officially launched the Realme 16, starting with Vietnam, and the phone is expected to arrive in more markets soon. This is the non-Pro model in the Realme 16 lineup, which already has Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+.

The most notable feature of the phone is its “Air Design.” From the back, the phone clearly takes inspiration from Apple’s iPhone Air. The camera visor stretches across the rear panel, which gives it a clean and minimal look. However, while the design tries to followthe iPhone Air, it couldn’t match the same level of slimness.

The Realme 16 measures 8.1mm in thickness and weighs 183 grams. It seems Realme has gone the safer route by keeping the phone thicker to fit a much larger battery.

It has a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated for up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and is protected by AGC DT-Star D+ tempered glass.

The device features a 50MP main camera using the IMX852 sensor, along with a 2MP monochrome sensor. The phone supports Realme’s LumaColor image processing. The phone also has a selfie mirror placed near the camera module which allows users capture selfies using the main rear camera. The phone also has a 50MP front camera.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor with 8GB of RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

The phone comes with strong durability ratings, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certification for dust and water resistance. It also has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Realme 16 packs a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging.

The Realme 16 is available in White Swan and Black Cloud colour options. In Vietnam, pricing starts at VND 11,490,000 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and goes up to VND 12,490,000 for the higher configuration.
