OPPO has launched the OPPO A6 Pro 5G smartphone in India. This phone is the successor to last year’s OPPO A5 Pro 5G and focuses on durability, long battery life, and smooth performance.
OPPO A6 Pro 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1125 nits of peak brightness. The phone runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. OPPO says the phone includes a 3900mm² vapor chamber cooling area, which helps it handle heavy gaming and long usage sessions without overheating.
The phone has a 50MP main rear camera along with a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C. OPPO A6 Pro 5G packs a 7000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
OPPO has also given the phone IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. This means the device can handle strong water jets, full water immersion, and even hot water up to 80 degrees Celsius. It measures 166.6 x 78.5 x 8.6mm and weighs 216 grams. The OPPO A6 Pro 5G is available in Cappuccino Brown and Aurora Gold colour options.
