NVIDIA GeForce NOW Adds New Games in January and Expands Monthly Playtime Limits

NVIDIA has rolled out a new GeForce NOW update to kick off the year. The cloud gaming service is adding support for many new games this month. At the same time, NVIDIA has started applying monthly playtime limits to existing paid subscribers as well.

This week’s update brings several new games to GeForce NOW across Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox. NVIDIA has also confirmed that Factorio and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are now playable on RTX 5080 servers. These servers are available only for Ultimate tier members and offer higher performance and better visuals.

NVIDIA has also shared a full list of games coming to GeForce NOW during the rest of the month. Players should note that GeForce NOW does not include free games. You must own the game or have a valid license through PC Game Pass to play it on the cloud.

  • Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (Xbox, Game Pass)
  • The Casting of Frank Stone (Xbox, Game Pass)
  • Eternights (Epic Games Store)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (Epic Games Store)

More Games Coming to GeForce NOW This Month

  • StarRupture (Steam, January 6)
  • Pathologic 3 (Steam, January 9)
  • Quarantine Zone: The Last Check (Steam, January 12)
  • MIO: Memories in Orbit (Steam and Xbox, Game Pass, January 20)
  • Nova Roma (Steam, January 22)
  • Guild Wars: Reforged (Steam)
  • Mon Bazou (Steam)
  • Supermarket Simulator (Xbox, Game Pass)
  • Tavern Keeper (Steam)

NVIDIA has also confirmed changes to how long users can play each month. All GeForce NOW subscribers are now limited to 100 hours of cloud gaming per month. Once this limit is reached, users will need to pay extra to continue playing.

With new game additions and updated usage limits, NVIDIA is starting the year with major changes to its cloud gaming platform.
