Motorola has officially introduced Motorola Signature, a new ultra-premium smartphone series that now sits at the very top of the company’s portfolio. With this launch, Motorola is clearly targeting users who want a flagship phone with a strong focus on design, performance, and camera quality.
Motorola Signature comes with an ultrathin quad-curved design and measures just 6.99mm in thickness. It uses an aircraft-grade aluminum frame and textured back finishes that improve grip and overall in-hand feel. The phone is available in two Pantone-certified colors. PANTONE Martini Olive features a twill-inspired texture, while PANTONE Carbon comes with a linen-inspired finish.
The smartphone also meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings.
Motorola Signature features a large 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It offers Super HD resolution and the display can reach up to 6200 nits of peak brightness. It also supports Pantone Validated Display Calibration and Dolby Vision for improved color accuracy and HDR content. The display panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The device is powered by the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, with CPU speeds of up to 3.8GHz. The chipset brings improved GPU performance and stronger NPU capabilities. This is also the first smartphone to feature a copper mesh liquid metal cooling system. This new cooling solution is designed to manage heat during long gaming or heavy workloads.
Motorola Signature ships with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has promised up to seven Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, which puts it among the best in terms of long-term software support.
Moto AI features are deeply integrated across the system. These include image recognition, voice assistance, and power optimization. Motorola has also expanded AI language support to German, French, Italian, Polish, Romanian, and Japanese.
The company has also announced on-demand white-glove assistance for services like travel, dining, and events. This feature is expected to roll out later this year.
The phone comes with a quad 50MP camera setup and has received a DXOMARK Gold Label for its imaging performance. The camera system uses Sony LYTIA sensors and supports Dolby Vision video recording with moto ai processing. The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 sensor. It supports 8K video recording, 4K slow motion, and Dolby Vision video capture. Color and skin tone accuracy are Pantone Validated.
There is also a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a Sony LYTIA 600 sensor. It offers 3x optical zoom and up to 100x Super Zoom Pro powered by moto ai, with a 71mm equivalent focal length.
The 50MP ultrawide camera offers a 122-degree field of view and also supports macro photography. On the front, the phone gets a 50MP Sony LYTIA 500 selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology and 4K video recording.
On the audio side, the phone features dual stereo speakers with Sound by Bose tuning. It also supports Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification, Snapdragon Sound, and aptX Lossless audio.
The phone packs a 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 90W TurboPower fast charging.
Motorola Signature will first launch in Europe with a starting price of EUR 999. The phone will initially be available in select European markets, followed by a wider rollout across the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions.
