Lava has launched a new smartphone, Lava Blaze Duo 3, in India. The company says this is India’s first dual-screen smartphone in this price range. The most notable feature of the phone is a secondary AMOLED display placed on the rear panel.
The Lava Blaze Duo 3 comes with a dual display setup. On the front, it features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back, the phone includes a 1.6-inch AMOLED secondary display. This screen allows users to check notifications, control music, and view animations without unlocking the phone. It can also be used as a viewfinder for taking selfies using the rear camera instead of the front camera. This can result in better quality selfies since the main camera is more capable.

The Lava Blaze Duo 3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, clocked at up to 2.6GHz. It uses a 6nm process and features an octa-core CPU with Cortex A78 and Cortex A55 cores. The phone comes with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM, along with 6GB virtual RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The Lava Blaze Duo 3 runs on Android 15 with a clean and bloatware free experience. Lava has confirmed that the phone will receive one Android OS update, bringing it to Android 16, along with two years of security updates. The company has also stated that there are no ads or unwanted notifications.
The Blaze Duo 3 features a 50MP AI main camera with a Sony IMX752 sensor and LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.
The phone includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port. Other connectivity options are 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
The device has an ultra-slim 7.55mm design and carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It comes in two color variants: Moonlight Black and Imperial Gold.
The Lava Blaze Duo 3 is priced at Rs. 16,999 and is now available for purchase on Amazon India.
