Epic Games Store has rolled out its latest free game offer. This weekend, players can claim not one but two stealth action games from the Styx series. These new freebies replace last week’s Bloons TD 6 giveaway.

The games available for free are Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness Deluxe Edition. Both titles can be added to your Epic Games library at no cost. Once claimed, they remain yours forever. The offer is live for the next seven days.

Styx: Master of Shadows was released in 2014 by Cyanide Studios. The game puts players in control of Styx, a goblin assassin with magical abilities and a sharp tongue. The focus here is on stealth. You sneak through dark fantasy environments, avoid enemies, steal valuables, and take out targets silently. One of the game’s standout features is the ability to create clones of Styx, which can be used for scouting or distracting enemies.

The story takes place inside the Tower of Akenash, a massive and dangerous structure guarded by Humans and Elves. At its center is the World Tree, the source of Amber, a powerful and rare substance. For Styx, this mission is not just about survival, but also about uncovering his origins.

The second free title is Styx: Shards of Darkness, released in 2017. This sequel expands on the ideas of the first game and offers more open and flexible level design. Styx has new abilities, more tools, and more ways to complete each mission. The game also introduces a cooperative mode, where another player can join as Styx’s clone.

In Shards of Darkness, players explore a variety of locations, including elven cities, dwarf lands, and dangerous unexplored areas. The missions allow multiple approaches, whether you prefer careful planning or creative problem solving.

Both Styx: Master of Shadows and Styx: Shards of Darkness Deluxe Edition are free to claim on the Epic Games Store until January 22. After that, Epic will rotate in the next set of free games for the week.
