CMF has officially launched CMF Headphone Pro in India. The new headphones focus on long battery life, physical controls, and a modular design. The company is positioning the headphone in the mid-range price segment, so let’s check if the features justify the price.
The CMF Headphone Pro comes with a modular design that allows users to swap ear cushions. This not only helps with comfort but also lets users change the look of the headphones. CMF is offering the headphones in Light Grey, Dark Grey, and Light Green color options.
The headphones has added dedicated physical controls. There is a Roller dial to manage volume, playback, and noise cancellation modes. The Energy Slider lets users adjust bass and treble levels directly without opening the app. There is also a customizable button that can be set for actions like enabling Spatial Audio or launching a voice assistant.
It uses custom 40mm dynamic drivers with nickel-plated diaphragms. CMF says this setup is tuned for clear sound with strong bass and balanced mids. The headphones support Hi-Res Audio and LDAC, allowing high bitrate wireless audio streaming over Bluetooth.
The CMF Headphone Pro features hybrid adaptive Active Noise Cancellation with a claimed noise reduction of up to 40dB. The system adjusts automatically based on the surrounding environment. There is also a Transparency mode for hearing outside sounds. For calls, CMF has added a triple-microphone setup with wind noise reduction.
The headphones support features like in-ear detection, dual device connection, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair. Low Lag Mode is available and activates automatically on Nothing phones. The CMF Headphone Pro also carries an IPX2 rating for basic splash resistance.
CMF claims up to 100 hours of playback with ANC turned off and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. With LDAC, users can expect slightly lower battery life. Fast charging is supported, and a 5-minute charge can deliver several hours of playback. The headphones can also be charged directly from a smartphone using a USB-C cable.
The CMF Headphone Pro is priced at Rs. 7,999 in India. As part of a limited-time launch offer, it will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 6,999. Sales will begin on January 20, 2026, at 12 PM through Flipkart and select offline retail stores.
