CES 2026 is set to take place in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9, 2026. Media Days will begin earlier, starting on January 4. As always, CES will set the direction for consumer technology in the year ahead. This time, the focus is less on concepts and more on real products, real launches, and practical use of AI.

Unlike older editions, CES 2026 is shaping up to be more execution focused. AI is no longer being treated as an experiment. It is now core infrastructure across devices, PCs, smart homes, and industries.

CES 2026 Dates and Structure Explained

CES week is divided into two main parts. Understanding this makes the event much easier to follow.

Media Days run from January 4 to January 5. This is when most big announcements happen. Companies unveil new products, share future plans, and host keynotes and press events.

Show Floor Days run from January 6 to January 9. These days are focused on hands-on demos, partnerships, meetings, and product showcases. Very few major launches happen here.

If you are following CES online, Media Days matter the most. If you are attending in person, the show floor is where you get real insights.
