Asus has refreshed the ZenBook A14 at CES 2026, and battery life is the most notable feature. The ultra-light laptop is rated to deliver more than 28 hours of video playback on a single charge. This makes the laptop one of the longest-lasting Windows laptops in its size class.
The ZenBook A14 comes with a slim and lightweight design. It weighs just 0.98kg and is thin enough to fit easily into small bags. The laptop uses ‘Ceraluminum body,’ which combines a premium feel with improved durability. The material resists scratches and smudges and meets US military-grade MIL-STD 810H standards.
The ZenBook A14 features a 14-inch Full HD OLED panel with rich colors and deep contrast. It is powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. This chip features an 18-core CPU along with a powerful AI engine rated at 80 TOPS. Asus says the new processor improves performance per watt, which plays a key role in delivering long battery life while keeping the system responsive.
Despite the compact size, Asus has managed to include a dual-fan cooling system inside the 0.63-inch chassis. This helps maintain stable performance during demanding tasks without adding extra weight or noise. Asus is offering the laptop in two configurations. Buyers can choose between 24GB RAM with 512GB storage or 32GB RAM with 1TB storage.
It supports Dolby Atmos and Snapdragon Sound for a good audio experience. The laptop also includes a USB-A port, two USB-C ports with display and power delivery support, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is also an FHD webcam with Windows Hello for face authentication. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The ZenBook A14 packs a 70Wh battery, and Asus says it can last beyond a full day of use, even stretching into multi-day usage for light tasks.
Asus has not revealed pricing yet. The refreshed ZenBook A14 is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2026.
