vivo has officially launched its new flagship smartphones, the X300 and X300 Pro, in India. These phones were already generating interest because of their design, camera hardware, and the new Dimensity 9500 chipset, and vivo has now confirmed all the details.

The vivo X300 features a compact 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with ultra-narrow 1.05mm bezels. The X300 Pro continues with the larger 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED panel, offering slightly thicker 1.1mm bezels. Both displays use BOE’s Q10+ material, support full-brightness DC dimming, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and can reach a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The minimum brightness drops to just 1 nit, which should help in late-night use.

Both phones are powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor built on a 3nm process. vivo claims the chip crosses 4 million points on AnTuTu 11. The phones support up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. vivo is also promising 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security updates, which is a strong commitment for long-term users. Both models come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, which means they can handle dust, water, and even high-pressure water jets.

The X300 comes with a 200MP Samsung HPB main sensor (1/1.4″), a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with the Sony LYT602 sensor that also supports telemacro. The X300 Pro takes things further. It is the first phone to feature the new 50MP Sony LYT828 1/1.28″ sensor for the main camera. It also includes a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera using the Samsung HPB sensor. The Pro model uses vivo’s V3+ imaging chip and supports 4K HDR cinematic portrait video. Both phones offer a 50MP front camera.

This time, vivo is also offering support for a ZEISS 2.35x teleconverter on both models. It uses 13 high-transparency glass elements along with three ultra-low dispersion lenses, which should improve clarity significantly, especially for telephoto shots.

The X300 packs a 6040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro comes with a larger 6510mAh unit. Both support 90W fast wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Given the battery sizes, these phones should easily last a full day of heavy use.
