Xiaomi has expanded its budget 5G lineup with the launch of Redmi 15C 5G in India. The device focuses on a large display, big battery, and a refreshed design. The phone starts at Rs. 12,499.
The Redmi 15C 5G features a massive 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free usage. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and can be configured with up to 8GB RAM, with an additional 8GB of virtual RAM available. Storage is limited to 128GB across all variants, but users can expand it up to 1TB via microSD.
Xiaomi ships the phone with Android 15 and HyperOS 2. The company has promised 2 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates for the device.

The Redmi 15C 5G offers a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a secondary sensor. It also has an 8MP front camera placed inside the notch.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and IP64 dust and water resistance. The phone supports a wide range of 5G bands, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The phone packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. This is a notable jump from the predecessor.
It comes in three colours: Dusk Purple, Moonlight Blue, and Midnight Black. The device measures 171.56×79.49× 7.99mm and weighs 211g.
