OPPO has started teasing the Reno15 series in India ahead of its official launch. The new lineup will succeed the Reno14 series, which was introduced earlier. The Reno15 series was already launched in China last month. So, we already know a lot about these phones. However, there would be some changes in specs for India.
The teaser image shared by OPPO shows the phones in blue and white colour options with patterned finishes. The design also reveals a new camera module that houses triple rear cameras. OPPO has highlighted the AI Portrait Camera feature, and the teaser confirms 3.5x zoom support through a periscope telephoto lens. This is similar to what was offered on the previous generation.
Based on recent reports, the standard Reno15 model launched in China could arrive in India as the Reno15 Pro Mini. The Chinese version features a 6.32-inch 1.5K OLED display. This would make it smaller than the Reno14, which comes with a 6.59-inch display.
Earlier leaks suggest that the Reno15 Pro Mini for global markets, including India, could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. This would be different from the Chinese variant, which uses the Dimensity 8450 chipset.
Alongside the teaser, OPPO has also announced a special Rs. 99 Privilege Pack for the Reno15 Series 5G. The pack offers a 50 percent discount on Enco Buds3 Pro and includes a 180-day hardware defect replacement coupon. These benefits can be availed when purchasing any Reno15 series phone after launch.
Once launched, the OPPO Reno15 series will be available on Amazon India, Flipkart, the OPPO India online store, and offline retail stores. OPPO is expected to share more details about the lineup in the coming days.
