OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Ace 6T in China. It adds a new performance-focused device to its Ace series. The phone brings a strong mix of high-end hardware, gaming features, and improved cooling technology. It will arrive globally, including India, as the OnePlus 15R later this month.
The OnePlus Ace 6T comes with a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that supports up to 165Hz refresh rate. It can switch between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz, and 165Hz depending on the content. OnePlus has used its new “Bright Eye Protection” technology, which is certified under the “Little Gold Label” standard. The display also has OPPO Crystal Shield Glass for better durability.
It is the first phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The device includes up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone also features two self-developed chips: the Gaming Network Chip G2 and a special touch chip that enables a very high 3200Hz touch sampling rate for fast input response.
The new Glacier VC system increases heat dissipation speed by 2 times and expands the vapor chamber area by 43%. The phone also uses new Glacier Graphite and Glacier Thermal Gel, improving overall thermal performance by 50%. The total heat dissipation area is 43,940mm², the largest ever on a OnePlus device. The Glacier Aerogel layer and aerospace aluminum frame help keep the phone cool during long gaming sessions.
The device supports native 165fps gaming in popular FPS titles such as Delta Force, Crossfire, Dark Zone, and Call of Duty. It also supports native 144fps gameplay in Honor of Kings. The Wind Chaser Game Kernel improves stability and frame rate, offering smoother graphics.
The phone features a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front camera. Video recording is supported up to 4K 60fps.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and GPS. It also offers In-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IR blaster.
The phone comes in Phantom Green, Flash Black, and Electric Purple. The first two use silk glass for a premium matte look, while Electric Purple uses fiberglass with a gradient Ace logo. OnePlus has also launched a Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka Limited Edition in Snowy Blue with a customized theme, special icons, animations, charging effects, and a box full of themed accessories.
For durability, the Ace 6T supports IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. It includes Rain Touch 2.0 for better screen usability with wet hands.
The device has an 8300mAh “Glacier Battery,” the largest battery capacity among performance flagships. It supports 100W Super Flash Charge that can charge from 1% to 50% in 23 minutes. It also supports 55W PPS charging, bypass charging, and wired reverse charging.

The phone is available for order in China and will go on sale from December 5. The Genshin Impact Edition will be available from December 22.
The OnePlus 15R, launching globally on December 17, is expected to be based on the Ace 6T. Most of the core features including the display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, RAM and Storage are expected to remain the same. OnePlus may slightly modify the camera setup for the Indian market. Indian version could also pack slightly smaller battery.
