Nothing has launched the Nothing Phone 3a Community Edition in India. This is a special variant of the Phone 3a that launched earlier this year. The new model is part of the company’s Community Edition Project, where Nothing invited ideas from its community members. More than 700 people took part and submitted their ideas. The final design, clock face, wallpaper, and accessory ideas were chosen from these submissions.
The new Nothing Phone 3a Community Edition brings a fresh design, a new lock screen clock, and a matching wallpaper. It still has the same features and specifications as the regular Nothing Phone 3a.

Nothing Phone 3a Community Edition comes with design and UI elements created with community input. Stage 1 of the project focused on hardware design. Community member Emre Kayganacl created the winning design. It is inspired by the tech products of the late 90s and early 2000s.
For the first time, the project included an Accessory Design category. The submission from Ambrogio Tacconi and Louis Aymond was selected. Their concept features a Dice accessory with each face showing numbers in Nothing’s Ndot 55 font.

The new lock screen clock and wallpaper were designed by Jad Zock. He worked with Nothing’s software team in London. The goal was to reduce visual clutter and offer a clean look that fits the style of NothingOS. Users can choose between four wallpaper options, with shades of blue and purple.
Nothing also picked Sushruta Sarkar for the “Made Together” marketing campaign for the Community Edition.
The Nothing Phone 3a Community Edition is priced at Rs. 28,999 in India. It comes in a single variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Only 1,000 units will be made, and the company will offer them in all global markets as part of a limited release.
In India, the phone will be available through a special drop event in Bengaluru on December 13.
