Epic Games has revealed the fourth free game for its Holiday 2025 giveaway, and it brings a very different vibe compared to the earlier titles. This time, the store is offering Blood West, a stealth-focused FPS that mixes Wild West themes with zombies and horror elements. The game is now free to claim on the Epic Games Store for a limited time.
Blood West is an open-world stealth shooter with retro-style visuals. It is set in a dark and cursed version of the Wild West. Players take on the role of an Undead Gunslinger who is trapped in these barren lands. Your goal is to fight zombies, face other undead creatures, and slowly uncover a way to remove the curse and free your soul.
Despite being a small indie title, Blood West has received strong feedback from players. On Steam, the game holds a Very Positive rating with over 3,200 user reviews. Many players praise its atmosphere, level design, and stealth-based gameplay. Some reviews even compare it to a single-player version of Hunt Showdown, which says a lot about its tension and pacing.
The game also offers plenty of content.
