The Epic Games Store has revealed Paradise Killer as its latest mystery free game. This is the sixth giveaway in its ongoing holiday promotion. PC gamers can claim the game for free and keep it forever if they add it to their library before the next giveaway goes live.

Paradise Killer was developed by Kaizen Game Works and first released in 2020. It is an open-world investigation game set on a strange and futuristic island. The story follows Lady Love Dies, who is called back to the island to solve the murder of the ruling council. The island is home to a broken civilization that is trying to bring back alien gods, which adds to the game’s dark and unusual atmosphere.

Players are free to explore the entire island at their own pace. You can talk to different characters, collect clues, and gather evidence. The game does not force a single solution. Instead, players decide who to accuse and build their own case. Every character has secrets, and the final outcome depends on the choices you make and the evidence you trust.

The free version available on the Epic Games Store includes several updates added after launch. These updates bring new music, additional characters, extra quests, cosmetic skins, and other improvements. The game also supports DirectX 12, along with ray tracing and upscaling technologies from Nvidia and AMD for better visuals on supported systems.

Paradise Killer is free to claim for the next 24 hours. The next mystery game will unlock on December 23 at 8 AM PT and 11 AM ET. As usual, Epic Games has not revealed what the next free title will be.

So far, the holiday giveaway has included popular games like Hogwarts Legacy, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, Eternights, Blood West, and Sorry We’re Closed. The Epic Games Store promotion will continue until December 31, with a new free PC game available every day.
