Nodding Heads Games has officially announced Raji: Kaliyuga, the sequel to its acclaimed action-adventure game Raji: An Ancient Epic. The new title is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. The studio has not shared a release date yet.
Raji: Kaliyuga continues the story six years after the first game. The conflict is now much bigger, moving beyond a battle between humans and demons. The sequel brings a cosmic-scale storyline where gods, asuras, and ancient forces clash after the asura warlord Mahabalasura disrupts the balance of the universe. By unsealing the heavens too early, he pushes all realms into a state of endless war.
The game follows Raji, now a skilled and confident warrior, and her younger brother Darsh, who has become a dreamwalker. Darsh is troubled by visions from the past and the future, and both siblings must travel across different lokas (realms) to reach the Eternal Summit. Their journey raises a powerful question: will they save the universe, or will they have to destroy it to stop the chaos?
One of the biggest changes in Raji: Kaliyuga is its dual-protagonist gameplay. Players will switch between Raji and Darsh depending on the story. Raji uses acrobatic combat and fights with the divine Trishul, while Darsh discovers new abilities called Siddhis, allowing him to control gravity, time, and energy. Their contrasting abilities encourage different playstyles and make the action feel more dynamic.
The game also introduces a new customized evasion system for Raji and a siddhi-yielding system for Darsh. These systems let players build their own combat style by mixing movement techniques and supernatural attacks.
