Nintendo has shared new details about the Pokémon Legends: Z-A DLC called Mega Dimension. It will launch on December 10 and cost $29.99 or 3,000 yen. The DLC adds two new Mega Evolutions for Raichu. It also introduces Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur. Players will explore a new area called Hyperspace Lumiose.
Hyperspace Lumiose is a strange version of Lumiose City. It looks similar to the real city but is very different. Some Pokémon here can go above the normal Level 100 limit. Players will get stronger Pokémon and new challenges.
Donut chef Ansha and the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa will guide players. By giving Hoopa special donuts made from Berries, players can open portals to hyperspace. These donuts can also power up your Pokémon. Stronger Hyperspace Berries help fight high-level Pokémon.
Players will meet new allies, like Korrina, a Mega Evolution expert. Together with Team MZ, they will explore Hyperspace Lumiose and discover its secrets.
The DLC adds Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur. When Chimecho Mega Evolves, six smaller copies appear. Their cries combine to make a strong sound attack.
Mega Baxcalibur becomes stronger with a bigger back blade and more ice power. Its attacks can break or smash almost anything. Players can get the Mega Stone for Baxcalibur from the Z-A Battle Club by playing online Ranked Battles.
From November 6, players can claim a Diancite Stone through Mystery Gift in the base game. This starts a side mission called “Shine Bright like a Gemstone.” Players can catch Diancie and use the stone to Mega Evolve it into Mega Diancie.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is available for Switch and Switch 2.
