Nothing has launched the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite in India, following its global debut last month. This new model aims to offer a clean software experience, a bright AMOLED display, and reliable performance at a competitive price. It sits below the standard Phone (3a) but still brings many of the features that users care about.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It can reach up to 3000 nits peak brightness, which makes the screen easy to use outdoors. The phone comes with Panda Glass protection and supports HDR10+.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. It is a capable 4 nm chipset that can handle everyday tasks, multitasking, and light to moderate gaming reasonably smoothly. You get 8GB RAM along with up to 8GB virtual RAM, and a choice of 128GB or 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The phone runs Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5. The company has promised three major Android updates and six years of security patches. Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0 will arrive in early 2026. Nothing has added a few new software features. Essential Space is a built-in AI-powered hub for notes and ideas. You can use the Essential Key to save content quickly, record voice notes, or jump to your saved items. The phone comes with Instagram and Facebook preloaded, but these can be uninstalled. Lock Glimpse is another feature that shows information on the lock screen based on your wallpaper, and this can also be turned off.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with a large 1/1.57-inch sensor for better low-light performance. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. The phone supports 4K video recording at up to 30fps.
Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, and support for multiple 5G bands. It weighs 199g and comes in White, Black, and Blue with a glass back.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The company says the battery will retain over 90% capacity after 1200 charging cycles. A full charge should comfortably last a full day for most users. However, the box does not include a charger.
