A new listing on the ESRB website suggests that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach may soon be coming to PC. The game is currently a PlayStation 5 exclusive, but the sudden appearance of a Windows PC rating hints that an official announcement could be very close.
The unannounced PC version was spotted on the official ESRB ratings page, and it clearly mentions Windows as a platform. The game carries the same Mature 17+ rating, with warnings for blood and gore, partial nudity, strong language, and violence. Neither Sony nor Kojima Productions has commented on this listing yet.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launched on June 2025 for the PlayStation 5. The sequel expands the original formula with new locations based on Mexico and Australia, along with a story set 11 months after the first game. Sam Porter Bridges returns as the main character, continuing his mission to rebuild connections between isolated communities.
A PC version is not surprising. The first Death Stranding followed a similar path. It launched as a PlayStation exclusive in 2019, arrived on PC soon after, and even got an Xbox version in 2024. However, that release was handled by 505 Games. This time, Sony itself appears to be managing the publishing, which could lead to a more coordinated release schedule.
There is also a strong chance that Sony and Kojima Productions could reveal the PC port at The Game Awards. The event has a long history with Hideo Kojima, and the game is already nominated for multiple awards, including Game of the Year. Kojima often uses this stage to announce new surprises, so a PC reveal would fit perfectly.
