Capcom has officially opened pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem, the next major entry in the iconic survival horror franchise. The game will be released on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
Alongside the announcement, Capcom revealed multiple editions, a themed Pro Controller for Switch 2, and even an amiibo featuring the game’s protagonist.

Resident Evil Requiem will be available in three main editions: Standard, Deluxe, and SteelBook.
Standard Edition – $69.99

Capcom also shared a glimpse of all special edition items and bonuses in new promotional visuals.
Resident Evil Generation Pack for Switch 2
Capcom is also preparing a Resident Evil Generation Pack for the Switch 2. Priced at $89.99, it includes Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, and the new Resident Evil Requiem. All three titles will come on game-key cards, offering a complete next-gen horror experience for Switch 2 players.
Resident Evil Requiem Pro Controller and amiibo
A Resident Evil Requiem-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller will launch alongside the game. The controller features a custom design inspired by the eerie atmosphere of Requiem.

In a first for the series, Capcom also announced a Resident Evil amiibo. The figure will feature Grace Ashcroft, the protagonist of Requiem, and will release in the summer of 2026.
Resident Evil Requiem x Fortnite Collaboration
Capcom is partnering with Epic Games to bring Resident Evil Requiem content to Fortnite. Players who purchase the game from the Epic Games Store will receive exclusive in-game items, including a Grace outfit. More details about the crossover will be revealed after the game’s release.

Upcoming Resident Evil Showcase
To build up the hype, Capcom confirmed that a new Resident Evil Showcase will be held in early 2026. The event will offer a deeper look at Resident Evil Requiem, including new gameplay footage and additional announcements related to the series.
