realme has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphones: realme GT8 and GT8 Pro in China. Both phones bring top-tier performance, a stunning display, and some impressive camera upgrades. Realme has also done partnership with Ricoh Imaging for improved camera performance.

The Realme GT8 Pro introduces something unique in design, which is called mechanical assembly design. It is the first smartphone with a detachable and replaceable Deco around the camera module. It gives users the fun of customization.. There are three Deco styles to choose from: a Functional Robot, Classic Round, and Square Deco. There is also a Transparent Rubik’s Cube variant that adds a futuristic look.

The phones are available in White, Blue, and Green color options. The white variant uses frosted glass, while the blue and green models come with a paper-like recycled leather finish. These phones also come with IP66 + IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Both the GT8 and GT8 Pro feature a 6.79-inch 2K 144Hz Sky Dome OLED flat display. It offers a peak brightness of up to 7000 nits, which is one of the brightest panels on any smartphone right now. realme has used Q10 + BOE custom luminous materials. It ensures vivid colors and excellent visibility under direct sunlight. The display supports 3200Hz touch sampling rate, hardware-level DC dimming, and eye protection features, including a special night-friendly yellow tint mode.

The realme GT8 series is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

To handle heat, realme has included a 7000mm² Ultra-Coverage Cold Front Cooling VC, the largest vapor chamber in its history. It covers 30% more area than the previous generation for better thermal control during gaming or heavy use.

There is also a dedicated R1 graphics chip, which supports super-resolution and super-frame modes for over 100 games. The phones can even run open-world mobile games at 2K + 120FPS, and some shooting titles at 144Hz, promising an unmatched gaming experience.

Both phones also feature dual symmetrical speakers, N’Bass enhancement, and a top-level ultra-wideband vibration motor for immersive haptic feedback.

realme has teamed up with Ricoh Imaging to bring camera technology inspired by the iconic Ricoh GR series. The GT8 Pro features an all-new ultra-high transparency lens group that delivers high clarity, minimal distortion, and better anti-glare performance.

Both phones run Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 on top. They also come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making them resistant to dust and water.
